Bleu Line supports international research: participation in ICUP 2025 in Sweden

Leonardo Lifescience Group took part in the International Conference on Urban Pests (ICUP), a world-renowned scientific event for the pest control sector.

From June 29 to July 2, 2025, Bleu Line, part of Leonardo Lifescience Group, participated in ICUP 2025 – International Conference on Urban Pests, hosted this year at the prestigious AF-Borgen headquarters in Lund, Sweden.

Organized every three years, ICUP is the leading international scientific forum dedicated to the study and management of pests in urban areas. The event brings together researchers, industry professionals, public bodies, and academics from around the world with the aim of sharing data, approaches, and perspectives on emerging challenges in pest management.

In line with its scientific vocation, the conference is non-commercial, totally self-managed, and based on the voluntary contribution of scientific and organizational committees.

Innovation and sustainability for urban pest management

During ICUP 2025, BleuLine followed with interest the main areas of research, including:

  • resistance to biocides and rodenticides,
  • artificial intelligence for predictive monitoring,
  • ethical and responsible management of urban wildlife.

These topics represent key areas of development for the Group, which is committed to designing innovative, effective, and sustainable solutions in line with the latest scientific evidence and European regulations.

Participation in ICUP was also an important opportunity for international networking, useful for consolidating the skills of the Bleu Line team, activating new research synergies, and strengthening the Group’s European position in the professional pest control sector.

“Events such as ICUP represent a valuable opportunity for us to update our technical knowledge and engage with the international scientific community,” says the Bleu Line technical team. “Contributing our expertise and absorbing new knowledge is an integral part of our commitment to increasingly informed and responsible pest control.”

Leonardo Lifescience Group thus confirms its presence in the main international contexts of research applied to the chemical and environmental sector, actively contributing to the progress of a sector increasingly oriented towards quality, safety, and sustainability.
